I wish ya the very best & hope that things grow quickly for you. Thats about the perfect size ad too, back in '04 I ran several different ads for my construction co. for about 8 months in every other publication. During the last 4 months, the smaller ad did just aswell as a 1/4 page which looked nice but didn't seem to be very cost effective

Good Luck! Make sure you ask ur new customers if they saw it in that paper. Next time a discount for mentioning the add will give you feedback to your advertising money.
