TPX Adaptiv Tech Radar, help pleeeezzz

So, I've had my busa for about 2 weeks now and I have put just over 500 miles on it. The guy I bought it from gave me the subject radar with the bike. I finally tried to test the thing out, and I kept getting red lights, but never saw one cop. I had it set on highway mode while I was on the interstate. Am I doing something wrong here?

It's a Gen II, but I'm not sure what you mean by "message". Off the top of my head there are 3 different modes I can set it to. There are two for the city, which are Ka and X I believe, and then there's the highway mode. I've only used in highway mode so far. I'll check it in the a.m. to get the exact modes allowed.

try selecting CITY NO X to avoid false alarms (other bands are K, Ka and Laser). For my 9500iX, the detector flashes what band (MESSAGE) it picked up
