What is the fastest speed you have been pulled over for?

Well... I was going 165ish... the CHP clocked me at 120ish... when he pulled me over it turned out to be an old partner of mine from the ambulance days. I was just SUPER lucky that day

Went through radar at 116(had just dropped down from 160),ended up with just a warning to slow down. :thumbsup:

My buddy in his 03 KB cobra got clocked at 132 in a 55.. ( was doing alot faster but let off, saw highlights) he totally left the cop he was going so fast, he pulled over and waited for almost 3mins for the cop to catch up to his parked car, got 6 month no lience and probation bla bla bla 3 days in jail

The cop didn't know, gave me "unsafe speed II" and I wouldn't tell. It was a 45 and I was in 6th gear about 10k rpm on my 1k. It's a bad habit, but I honestly ignore my speedo.

Mine would be 110 in a 70, But that was a BS ticket. I was alone with a 3 hour ride across the state in cruising mode, probably doing 72 TOPS. Thing was, it was the first nice day of the season, and bikes were everywhere. One flew by me on the freeway about 5 miles before getting stopped. State police told me that "I blew buy one of his officers at over 110mph" I know for a fact it was mistaken identity but there is no fighting with these guys. Ended up with a 79 in a 70. Went to fight it, but didn't get reduced at all, due to the officer writing "110 in 70" on the comments. I was pretty angry, and lost some respect for the Michigan State Police for that one.

In the truck, worst I got was a running a red. Two completely empty roads at 11pm when I was 16 and dumb. Stopped, looked and it was clear but it was still red, and I went. Got stopped, and told the officer I was just really hungry. He wrote on the comments "Running red light on westbound Plymouth rd and Beach rd. Driver stated he was hungry" :laugh:

yeah i lost alot of respect for the msp as well... a group of us too off extremely too fast from the light and i wasnt paying attention to what was behind me and was only paying attention to what was in front of me as soon as i saw the cop i stopped and it was less than a minute but supposedly i was running because i looked at him smiled and took off from the light... according to the other ppl that was behind me he was 6 rows of bikes behind me.. yeah i really looked right at him lmfao

142 in a 45. Long straightaway and not much traffic... except for the cop waiting for guys like me. Didn't catch me until I was down to 75 but still paid the ticket.

68 in a 40 coming 'round a turn on the west end of the Cherohola Skyway by a Federal Park ranger...said he heard me coming halfway down the mountain and could arrest me and impound the bike but just gave me a $180 ticket I paid online that night. Good thing he wasn't on top of the mountain-I'd probably still be in jail

In drivers safety class now... 3 moving violations in a month and two knocked down to 19 over - there by missing reckless charges... I once got pulled at 56 miles over the limit, strangely enough only got a warning on that one - go figure!

I'm effectively in "recreational speeding" jail at the moment and will be there for some time to come. Been riding my Harley alot more these days.

About 15 years ago got the scare of my life but not pulled over... I was doing around 160 on interstate 65 after just coming out of a pack of cars. As one of the cars behind me started flashing their headlights and I thought one of my buddies dumped or something... After watching in my mirrors I see both bikes come out of traffic ok so i wasn't sure what was up at that point. I then look forward and there was an indiana state police car sitting in median running radar, I just ducked my head behind windscreen and kept her going!!! Either no one was in the car or the thing wasn't reading right because the car didn't move( that or he figured "no chance" at this one). I slowed down a little once I saw he wasn't moving and I was off the interstate and to this day wouldn't try to make it from south side of indy to Lafayette in 23 minutes again... but it sure was fun!!! Nowadays they arrest ya for **** they used to just tell your parents about, impound bikes, jail time, etc - not worth it!
