That's exactly what I've been looking for.  Very nice.  Thought it would also serve as a good place to store them during the winter.  Would have to find a good way to secure it though.

I assume it's an all aluminium,  7 x 14, V-nose, with rear ramp door, with electric brakes.

Question: could a 7 x 14 haul 4 bikes?
if you placed them properly it would haul 4
i`m going to get the the stand thet holds through the rear axle bolt. and requires no more tie downs.

I'm from CT and when I went to Florida I rented an enclosed U-Haul trailer and drilled holes into the floor for the mounting strap. The only thing I can say, make sure the tie down straps clear the top of the side fairings because they rubbed the whole time and caused some scratches. Other then that's we had no problems the whole way down..

I'll tell ya straight, the busa wont fit in the back of a freestar. You'll have to go to a full size cargo to fit it. sorry

Seriously, we rent the enclosed u-haul trailers and drill holes in them to mount rings for the straps.

I've hauled 3 bike from Va to Myrtle every year like that.
Yeah! Thanks dude!

I rented one of those "hole in the floor" trailers and ruined my sofa!

Thanks buddy. You owe me 13 cents too!

I just priced trailers at my local "Camp Out" dealership. They do a 6x10 single axle ramp rear with a side door starting at $3000, $3200 with a camper door on the side instead of an outside latch, another $80 for rear stabilizers for loading with being attached to anything. A 7x10 adds $500. They had a sweet tandem 7x12 with all the goodies for like $5500 and a 7x14 low boy tandem motorcycle trailer with a wicked low deck height for $6500.

GIXERHP and I trailered down last Bike week using my 6x12 Landscape trailer and had no issues. I spent $150 and built a stone shield that completely surrounded the bikes, they got wet, that was about it. That trailer is $1200 at LOWES. My F150 got 10.5 MPG towing it and we used about 250 gallons the trip was about 2600 round trip. I added "Bearing buddies" and we greased up before we left both times. I used a Baxley and I think his was a condor.

We are going again. When are you leaving to go down? I/we were planning on leaving Friday late or first thing Saturday. Once we clear NY we will be on the same route.

I brought my 'busa home last week in a 3 horse trailer. Don't ask. Amazing though, for that trip, it was holding a LOT more than 3 horses.....

Some of these receiver style carriers might be worth looking into.
Not enclosed, but bike can be covered. May be some others on the board who have better info on these

SLA1500,

I hauled a GSXR 750 on a set up just like that last year. They work very good!

You would probably require a Class IV hitch to haul a Busa like that though. (not to mention some good springs in the back, since all the weight is directly on the hitch)
