http://www.cosportbikeclub.org/misc/SpeedCalc.html Going by the owners manual, with all the stock gear ratios, the Busa is geared for 204.6 mph at redline in sixth according to this gear/speed calculator. After reading this http://www.qsl.net/n5mya/bike6-99.html ...thats what the Busa would do if it was just nudging the redline...200.2 mph. So I have to believe the article is true

Plus it will help with finding out how accurate your speedo really is.

Couple numbers
Primary drive = 1.596 (83/52)
Stock sprockets = 2.353 (40/17)

Gears
1st = 2.615
2nd = 1.937
3rd = 1.526
4th = 1.285
5th = 1.136
6th = 1.043

Your busa is limited on top speed by the amount of torque it develops to push you that fast. Your stock busa will never see redline in 6th gear unless you get a down hill run. If you reach 190 on flat ground, you'll be lucky and that will take lots of that flat ground and a good day to reach?

Or you could have just gone to this site: and all the ratios are there for the Busa for you. Just plug in the sprocket numbers... (i.e. 16t/40t, etc.). Hope you all like this one better.
