2. Jenson Button, Honda (Michelin), 1:11.327

4. Juan Pablo Montoya, McLaren (Michelin), 1:11.978
5. Rubens Barrichello, Honda (Michelin), 1:12.062
6. Heikki Kovalainen, Renault (Michelin), 1:12.122
7. Jarno Trulli, Toyota (Bridgestone), 1:12.143
8. Ricardo Zonta, Toyota (Bridgestone), 1:12.385
9. Jacques Villeneuve, BMW Sauber (Michelin), 1:12.622
10. David Coulthard, Red Bull (Michelin), 1:12.840
11. Valentino Rossi, Ferrari (Bridgestone), 1:12.851
12. Alexander Wurz, Williams (Bridgestone), 1:12.925

14. Mark Webber, Williams (Bridgestone), 1:13.050
15. Robert Kubica, BMW Sauber (Michelin), 1:13.353

Vale Rossi's comments from motogp.com:

Rossi did however make it clear that after the diversion of the day´s tests he was now channelling his commitments fully towards preseason preparation for MotoGP with Yamaha.

“It is satisfying, but now comes the turn of the bike, which is my priority for this year. I must focus on the MotoGP World Championship, just like Ferrari must focus on their Championshipâ€￾ Rossi now heads to Sepang for the Qatar Test.

2 sec in F1 is an eternity, but what is impressive is that Rossi is ONLY 1 sec behind Michael

Leave MotoGP Rossi

And we'll have a better struggle for the championship.

But beware Rossi, you're like Mike, leave the sport and if you return you won't be the same

Wow to be that good in Moto GP and then go out and jump into an F-1 and run times that close to Schumacher says goodbye to Moto GP and hello F-1, he will make the move next year for sure.
Him moving will be good for Moto GP like Charles said, him walking away with the championship every year just leaves us wondering who will be number 2.
