Okay, I know it’s not fair to compare the two, but I find it slightly amusing.

The local forum I used to belong to, boasted a whooping -

“Most users ever online was 19â€￾ -

Compare that to the Org -

“Most users ever online was 2,487, 12-03-2009 at 05:56 PM.â€￾ -

Does anyone belong to a forum that beats these stats?

Post up your other forum #’s, just for kicks I would like to see some comparisons.

Thanks, and post safe

Post safe..is that like the time after you got your safe?

I belong to a few other bike sites, but rarely visit...this is HOME! :cheerleader:

I used to frequent SnoWestonline.com during the winter months for snowmobile info.

Unfortunately, Harris Publishing (owner of the site) turned the forum over to a guy who made some bad decisions, made lots of people mad, and then made it a pay site. Before he messed it up most people would have gladly paid to stay.

So most people I knew from that site moved over to a new site that was started for the refugees, backcountryrebels.com. Only been up for 4 months or so..

Thanks for the input.

Automobile forums are bound to have higher numbers as there are more of them on the road for just about any model with-in reason. Most people get all excited w/ there new car.....sign up, post a few pics & introduce themselves, but unless they're a true enthusiast....rarely go back and frequent the site.

The problem with millions of posts, is how can you possibly read them?
That's like doing a search on the internet and getting 4 million hits.
May as well be 4 trillion. Hey ... JMO.

you dont need to read them all. just the ones relevant. need to know something type it in the search engine. multiple threads. just about every opinion and no wait.

Now that's a site that I bet the members don't get crappy with each other.. I wonder how many members have dissappeared over the years?
