Tank Protector

Has anybody tried to remove the adhesive tank protectors? Any hints? I was planning on switching to a Mag Knight magnetic tank bra. Anybody have any comments on this poduct?

i was just wondering the same thing...

Peel off most of the tank protector and then use paint thinner to remove the stickey stuff. Your bike's paint will be cured enough that the paint thinner won't hurt it.

Don't know any thing about the magnetic tank bra, but if you are looking for something removeable that won't damage your paint, look here: Tankslapper.com

Lighter fluid works good for glue removal also.Its not as strong as thinner.If you use thinner use enamel reducer not laquer thinner

Hey cougar, let me know what you think when you get it. It's on my list. For some reason my leathers are scatching my tank at knees? I'm getting tired of waxing it out.
