Byhalia, Anodization can be a little touchy when exposed to extreme heat. You may however, not have a problem with your project. Your canisters may not get that hot(?) Any way, I'd like to hear how it goes! What color are you going for?
My goal is one set of polished, one set black and another I haven't determined as yet. Bike needs a better paint on it.
Speaking of paint. What is Kawasaki doing with their paint that Suzuki is not? I have not seen a color/finish on a Kaw I did not appreciate other than puke green.
