speedo problem

See if there is an easy answer to this one.

Installed the HMF duals and PCIII USB over the weekend. Now when I ride the bike it is as if the speedometer jumps around a bit. Once I level the speed of the bike off the needle will stabalize but if I'm accelerating it jumps 15-20mph faster than my indicated speed.

I didn't notice this before the mods......but I can't say for sure it wasn't happening either.

Any ideas??

Check your speedo cable that goes into the countershaft sprocket cover.

DAMN!!!! Went out this morning to check out the sprocket cover and was rolling the bike backwards toward the sunlight and I heard a pop from the area of the sprocket. Seems as if the bolt (allen head) that goes into the sprocket was almost completely out. Result.....cracked sprocket cover!! Bike only has 1,458 miles too!!

One question.......why would this crack the sprocket cover??
