What a great idea.
It would eliminate the need to back up the driveway when going home so that I can pull straight out in the morning when my damn windshield is all fogged over and there are a dozen other vehicles behind me.
That or I create that "horse shoe" driveway I always wanted.
I Love it.

But then I am still working on putting a turntable in my garage so that I don't have to back the busa out either.

but at what price? What sort of problems will a reversable cockpit ADD to the car just to eliminate the need for reverse? just another thing to breakdown and fail when you really don't want it to. Just my opinion.

I want them to work on hover cars soon. Now THAT would be sweet... yet again, completely impractical

Technological / Engineering advancements should not be stopped by fear of failure ("...What sort of problems..."). If that was the case we would not have this sweet a$$ bike we are all riding.

Like anything else it will come down to a "supply and demand" situation and I don't believe there will be enough demand for this feature.

The mustangs have always been conservative in the performance range compaired to the other "muscle cars" out there. This new camero is probably going to be expensive and powerfull... thats one thing that Ford did... stayed conservative with the car to make it affordable to most and yet is still has a respectable power output and performance for the price...

oh im all for advancement, just cant see any value vs the extra complexity it creates. it will jam turned halfway and require towing back to the garage because you cant drive it like that.

but I never believed in the SEGWAY either. sure, it does what it's designed to do and is pretty cool on paper, but who cares? nobody is buying them.
