Whats really cool is on the 4th picture (the one with the 2 jets), AS the first jet has broken the sound barrier, if you really look close at the second jet you will see a faint white outline around the jet, as it looks like it is just reaching the threshold of breaking the barrier....absolutely amazing.

If you have ever heard a jet breaking the sound barrier, you will sometimes note that you get a Large burst and a second smaller burst. Looking at the pictures you can see that the main body of the plane creates the large barrier boom, but if you look right behind the canopy of the plane you will note the formation of a smaller "burst". And Im wondering if this is what creates the 2nd smaller burst that is heard when a plane breakes the sound barrier?

Very cool pics. Unfortunately I get fairly air sick, and don't fly unless I am forced to. But still, those are some damn cool pics, dude.

can someone please explain these to me? is it photoshopped expression of sound barrier or ambient humidity exploding from the sound barrier breakage concussion?
High pressure not neccessarily breaking the sound barrier create these "clouds". Watch a commercial aircraft on final on a real humid/rainy day. Sometimes you will actually catch similar condensation effects off the wings at low speeds..

It's a badass effect though.
But Here is a B2 stealth doing a similar trick without being supersonic. Sweet shot.
