I will say this
I you cut the air box you will gain about 3mph in the 1/4 mile.and lose very little on the bottom.This with no map changes.

todd, i agree with u about waiting and watching to see what happens to the mods and different experiments that people do on this board. but i wanted to contribute something to the pot. i respect everyones opinion and do take in everything that is said. this was just one thing i felt i could help bring to light and post the results so those that were curious would know. i am curious about a lot of things that peoppe do on there busas and would like to know the findings. i appreciate all who have had ideas and have taken the risk of doing the R&D on the personal bikes. thanks, cya everyone in daytona. hehe, just a few more days
