Replacing a Race tail with a Plastic/fiberglass

Hey guys,
Im new to the forums, and had a quick question. I came across a busa for a great price with low miles and I really want to pull the trigger on it but...
It currently has a race tail (1seater) installed on the bike. Is it hard/hassle to replace the race with a plastic/fiberglass aftermarket peice? Do I need to fab brackets/mounts or anything?

I would love to jump on this, but not sure what I am getting into.

If the bike has the stock rear subframe it is very easy to swap back to the stock tail section.
