Reat Foot Rest

I'am considering getting a set of rear foot peg arms (the ones that attach to the exhaust) and grinding the foot rest attaching part off. Since I only ride SOLO, I don't need the foot rest. My question is: has anyone else done this and how does it look

. I actually like their beefy look over some of the conversions out there !

i seen some pictures on here awhile back of someones bike done that way. not to shabby. really looked ok.
