Rear footpeg mods, anybody ever raise 'em?

My wife went to a bike show/event on the back of her dad's cruiser. She says she felt "more in control" with her legs more 90* instead of the lower position of the Busa.

I'm leaning toward it being less comfortable, but who knows, maybe she's on to something.
