Hi,
Have my eye on a stage 2 on UK ebay at the moment and wondered if it would be alright for the road. It's a Borg Warner 250-700 apparently. There are other considerably cheaper ones for sale and don't know wether it's good value or not really suitable. The seller has had it up to 500 on the dyno and says it's on 350 odd at the moment which is more than enough for road.

Turbos can be very streetable when built and tuned accordingly, but, if you're not sure of what you're looking at, even if it has top shelf parts, and it seems to be a good setup for what you want...you Really need to have it inspected at a Reputable shop that knows turbos.
You can easily find yourself putting a few more grand into it to get everything correct(and still come out to the good), or have no issues at all.
If a seller is not willing to do that, I would have my doubts.

Oh yeah, their rep speaks for itself.
If I were you, I would call or speak with them directly, and ask them how streetable that build is, or if they would recommend any adjustments to boost or compression to make it better.
Go straight to the source.
Looks like an awesome machine.

Have spoken to the seller. Very helpful. Viewing next week
249 in the standing mile!
Christ, I can't remember last time managed 150 anywhere
Wonder how much faster with unlimited straight
