Hey everybody!
Picking up my '06 from the dealer Tuesday afternoon. I can't sleep, I can't eat; it's like a dream come true. I've shopped the bike market pretty hard, and you can't beat what you get for the money. I'm in love with the styling. It's totally hot.
Had originally looked at sport touring. Rode the FJR1300, ST1300, and a few BMW's (rode like a car), but the eyes always made their way back to the busa. I gotta have it.
Have not had the chance to ride one yet, but I have a pretty good idea what to expect. I'm 44, and have limited street riding experience, but I know I'll be fine because I have total respect for this bike.
I believe having the maturity to know your limits, and staying within them is the key to safely operating any type of performance vehicle. Years of safe drag racing have taught me that. I would never put my 18 year old son on this bike for example.

Anyway, thanks for a place to see and talk busa.
I'm sure I'll be an active member. There's a lot to learn.

I'll post pics of the blue/silver monster when I get it in the driveway.

Sliders are my first mod

Welcome to the board and congrats on the new ride.

When I first got mine I thought I might be let down a little on my first ride after riding the BMW 1200S, but nope... the Busa rips. Wait till that first time you hit the 7000K -10,000K RPM Range you'll be simling for days.

picked up my Busa about a week ago and put 125miles on it first weekend, after riding and racing Harleys for 30 years I have to say this is the "NEED FOR SPEED" fix I have been needing.
Plus it is ultra smooth to boot...in short I Love it!!!
