Thank you. The only thing that I've done to it is bring it to the mechanic and have him fix it after I spent too much time messing with the injectors. But I did learn quite a bit about Busa's, so that was worthwhile.

Yes those are stock pegs. See the thick rubber pad on top? Lowered pegs would place your foot just about where that rubber pad ends. The mid pipe restricts how far the actual metal peg can be lowered. See how my Buell pegs look compared to your stockers?

Sorry.. I did a search but everything was pretty old. What model and year pegs work best on 1st Gen? Also, anyone find aftermarket rear sets that can be set with lower peg? All the rear sets I've every purchased raise the pegs. Got a knee issue with the new to me bike. Thanks.
