*Update* I found what I was looking for.

Seems a lot of guys go with 4 short stacks, and I'm going the other way - and want 4 tall stacks. So, if any of you have a couple of tall stacks that you'd be willing to part with (for a fee of course), I'd be happy to take them off your hands. USPS is fine - I'll pay shipping in advance. Just not as many options up here. I can get a whole gen 1 air box in the US for about $20 - $30, but there isn't as much of a market up here.

Anyway - if anyone can help me out, shoot me a note and we can figure out details. Again, I'm in Canada - about ½ an hour north of Toronto.

Thank you for any help.
Mike

Everything is good. Just cold and snowy, but it's Canada, so what do you expect in winter :)

If it makes it easier for anyone, I'll take a complete gen1 airbox. Otherwise I'll have to wait for my next trip to the US and get an eBay airbox shipped to the hotel. Probably my cheapest option - but I don't want to wait and have it out of the bike now, so it would be easier to do before the nice weather comes in a month or two.

Will the stacks out of a Gen II fit? I think I have some laying around.

From what I've read, I think they are different - but thank you for the reply. I'll have to keep an eye out for a used gen 1 air box. Not having much luck so far.

PM Goldenchild

Funnily enough, I came across Goldenchild as a potential parts source when I was hunting through the forums looking for these things. I sent him a PM a couple of days ago - waiting to hear back. Thanks for the tip though :)

BUMP - never heard back from Goldenchild beyond him saying that he could "get me whatever I need". Oh well - I want to get the bike together, so PLEASE get back to me if you have them.
