Gen 1 To A 1397 Guess The Hp Difference

1397 in my gen 1 Busa. 198rwhp on pump gas. Big difference from stock, but the tune made the biggest impression. Smooth powerband especially tooling around, and when you jump on it; she jumps!

The most noticeable part for me was mid range torque. The top end is so violent on Busas of any cc, it’s hard to judge. As far as usable power, the 1397 puts a smile on my face

Cam
Heads
Pc
Bigger injectors
Bored throttle bodies

We will see how she does

Just a Piston kit on a stock motor will yield almost 20hp

Piston Question, Wossner vs OEM | Turbo

I just had my turbo rebuilt (it was puking oil into the exhaust) and the shop stated that there was some melted aluminum on the exhaust tubine blades. He stated that it us usually an indication that there has been some detonation or pre-ignition (make sense) and I may want to check my pistons...
