Ft. Dix, NJ Riders chime in

I'm about to leave snowy Germany and head to Ft Dix, NJ arriving in mid March. Eager to ride the bike as Arrive in Germany, immediately deploy to Iraq for 15 months, come back and only get 2 months of riding time has got me antsy.

I'm Army also and was stationed in Philly for 3yrs but my records were maintained at Dix. i would ride few times a month on the bike up to Dix to take advantage of the PX or update records. I know Dix is mainly a in/out processing point for the NG and Reserve guys deploying or returning from deployments. That place sucks! Don't know much about the bike scene in Jersey but if you get a chance roll into Philly, theres always something going on there. Be careful dodging all the potholes, Jersey is hell on the suspension regardless of how many wheels you're riding on.
