So let me get this straight... the K8 goes 10.15 @ 145mph in the quarter, yet it takes a full second longer to reach 150?  Or even better, the ZZR does 0-150 in 8.04, but does the quarter mile in 10.85 @ 140?
Does not compute!

Hi Guys,

Just got my April copy of Fast Bikes, could not wait to read the Going Hyper article.

As a Busa nut I went straight to page 38, yes about right for a Gen 1 standard bike.

Then I turned the page, so let me get this straight, the Gixer1000 does 0-150 in 9.69, but does the quarter mile in 10.36 @ 144.19, this does not compute!

Or even better on page 42, the ZZR does 0-150 in 8.04, but does the quarter mile in 10.85 @ 140.74

as for the K8 taking 1.07 sec to add 4.74 mph you are having a laugh ??

So after having a laugh, I turn to page 46 and all the numbers have changed ??

I know you guys are writers but you must have someone on the team that can comprehend Arabic numerals.

Best regards

Delboy

Hi Del,

Apologies for the massive ****-up, no excuses, we simply hadn't noticed the error.

The data on the final comparison page is correct, but some of the ones on the individual spreads are indeed wrong.

We stand corrected!

All the best

Moby
