Directionals acting like hazards

I posted this in the general topic section yesterday but didn't get too much info.
I went to get an inspection sticker and when I tried to put on my left or right directionals,both of them were flashing!!
Has this happened to anyone here?
Needless to say,no sticker. My bike is brand new 2006!
So then I take it for a 2 hr blast,a few small wheelies and now it seems to be working,not sure if just something shook around and now works....
Any help would be nice

Never heard of this before. Take it back to the dealer who sold it to you.

Are you sure you didn't hit the hazzard switch on the right handle bar?
