Decided to get my CA Real Estate License.

Currently work as a Sr Loan Officer for a CA mortgage lender. My 7th year as a loan officer. Lots of Refi's and purchase loans.

A friend who's a mortgage broker says if I want to stay in this industry, I also need to get my Real Estate license if I ever want to work for a broker. No intention to work as a Realtor though, props to those of you that are Realtors, that's a tough job.

Got handed a 600 page text book, here, learn all this stuff.

Good for you pashnit. I'm currently trying to partner with a friend who just got her license here in FL and has been buying houses to repair and flip. Seems like there is money to be made, but is a tough market right with so many people trying to make some money flipping homes.

Had my license since 2001. That's weird you are requested to get license as mortgage broker. I primarily flip homes now and just use to list what I fix up.
