So checked tank internals and was in a sorry state.
Took before and after pictures using an endoscope.

Product has been used on three previous tanks and is superb ..and is environmentally safe!!!

What are you going to coat the inside tank with?
Nothing. Dried with hair dryer added some fuel swilled once. Drained and will half fill with fuel. No water or moisture present so should be good. Going to add an in line filter and make the tap able to shut off.

Will an in-line filter withstand the pressure?
Oh yes, I have plumbed in filters on these bikes. Only 43lbs at the rail right ?.

When I work on folks bikes that have had any history of tank moisture, I make it a point to plumb in a filter, and a pressure gauge, just to be sure that the fuel system cleans up correctly. Once I know it's clean and it has fresh gas you just simply take the assembly out and reconnect the factory line.

Of course, I recommend you clean everything from the tank to the rail, and if you have time, send the injectors out for a quick cleaning at RC engineering, or your shop of choice.

Are you using the cleaner in the ultra sonic tank as well?
If it is a mix of plastic and steel I using washing up liquid . For steel I use an additive that is recommended by the manufacturer of the ultrasonic cleaner

Sounds like you've got it going on !. Nice work. I only plumb the gadgets in so I can see it settle in, take it for a spin, lift the tank, one last check, then remove the filter/gauge, reinstall the fuel line, and drop the tank with confidence.

Sounds like you covered all the bases. Great work !.

The last three bikes I bought had all sat for over ten years 1992 Nsr250, 1990 Kawasaki and now the Busa let's say I have had carbs , tanks on and off more times than my helmet learnt a lot from expirance and forums . I will always go from fuel entry of tank to fuel entry of engine clean and cook everything in between then slip in a temporary filter to catch the ones that got away... First time taking off the Busa tank I did the run of shame , running around the field with stale petrol going everywhere...
