Can I shorten an RS-3 on midpipe side?

The can has a small dent on the on the end by where the midpipe slide into I was wondering if I could shorten the can on the inletside I know you can do it on the end cap side, but that side is in good shape.

The dent is on the bottom no one would ever see it, but I KNOW ITS THERE hahahaha.

Should be able to drill out the rivets, cut to the length you want and then re-rivet...

Personally, I'd leave it as it's not visible but I'm lazy...

My rs3s are shortened. Just like above , drill cut attach.

I know they can be shortened just wasn't sure if you could do it on either side or just the endcap side. Nice bike btw if I was single I'd go with the gsxr tail section!

I cut my Ti Hindle down on my Bandit and it was pretty straight forward.

Get SS rivets though
