Looked through and didn't see many brackets. I have a 6+ swingarm on the way for a 240 conv and manufacture said they couldn't put a bottle bracket between the arm and tire. So now I"m looking at other options to mount my bottle.

Any suggestions? Only place that seems decent would be off the passenger left peg since I'm fixign to install a 4-2-1 exhaust.

You can fit a 2/2.5 lb bottle on the arm with a 6 over bike, 240 or not. The manufacturer is incorrect. Get with Golden Child for a bottle bracket.

That's what I assumed too, I know my 2# bottle isn't 6" wide! He said I'd need to go 10" over to fit a bottle? I actually sent him a PM about some bottle bracket I found a picture of, but not sure if it's in the swingarm.

Always the peg route, but it'd look so much better in the swingarm

I have a 2lb bottle on my 0-6 arm, with welded brackets, and I am not all the way back.

Be careful of the peg bracket deal, one of my buddies is the one who made the original brackets, and the peg mount WILL break. His is reinforced with a plate behind the peg bracket...

Makes sense to me. I'll see when teh arm and wheels come in. May end up having to drill/tap the arm or get a bracket welded in there. :)

I have a 2 pound bottle in my +6 swingarm. I used the Muzzy bracket and there is plenty of room.

I sent you a PM and an email a few days ago but I haven't gotten a reply and need a bracket ASAP so I can put the bike back together since my wheel will be here tomorrow.

Does anyone have any other suggestions for a bottle mount or agree with me that it'll fit? I took some pictures when I mocked it up with the tire and stock rim, any suggestions? Bottle is roughly 4" and I have about 8.25" gap between arm and tire.

Thanks!

Going to look at them now and see how I could mount it. I'd like to have something to bolt on as I just had the arm powdercoated since Goldenchild suggested I can drill/tap his mount on. Any ideas on that?

Well, I definitely have room for the bottle after mounting it all up. I got with GoldenChild and his bracket won't work due to the thickness of the arm. I'm sending him some dimensions in hopes maybe he can find a way to mount it since I've already powdercoated the arm.

I know there's always welding, but that'd mean I'd have to take the arm back off and have to spend another $75 to powdercoat it again. Plus buy 4 new bearings to tap back in so I'm looking at $200 plus bracket to put it on. Or just let someone weld it on and just use spray paint to cover it up...but that would bug me always knowing that's there. is there any other option to put it in the arm?

I would think it would not be hard to mount one on the top and bottom of the arm, if you have enough material on the bracket.

Check SAE Outlaw Performance

I have his brackets and he is reasonable on quality stuff!
