Ok, so according to our local newspaper Bill Gates has given 30 billion dollars to charity!
30 billion:
$30,000,000,000.00!
GIVEN - as in here ya go, go do something constructive with this money yo!
That is some kinda serious coin!
Did some playing around and came up with some interesting stuff:
The supposed population of the US is approx. 295 million people. Does that equate to his having been able to give (by comparison) $101 to each person in the US?
Or, just hit the folks that are over the age of 20 and he could have handed out $150.00!
Or.....
He could have bought a Hayabusa for 2,727,272 people! Maybe a solid 3 million with a volume purchase discount!!!
That is just unreal for one person to have given away that much money...
Hope the recipients used it wisely!
