Have we picked a date for the 08 east coast Hayabusa track day a Barber?
OMG Dennis, thats a brilliant idea!

Wonder how we'd go about leasing or getting track access?

I'll bet Vman could pull it off...

(georgiabusa_05 @ Sep. 22 2007,20:17) Randy, that is awesome. I would love to do that class one day.  Hey Don, hint hint, you up for it. Sounds like you had a great time and came home with a great deal of knowledge.  Congrats to you my friend. We will miss you and Dawn at the bash but what you learned has made you a better and safer rider.

I'm too old and slow...I'd be in the way on a track.

I'd love to do one of the race schools

To keep from dragging hard parts, consider raising the rear an 1" and re-springing the front forks for your weight

I was surprised that I was dragging the stator cover since I am tentative (uhem awful) turning left.

Good point on raising the bike though, I'll have to check that one out!
The stock fork springs are useless at the track if you weigh more than about 160lbs...with the higher cornering speeds @ the track, the suspension compresses too much and you will scrape fairings and engine parts.

Have the forks re sprung (1.0kg springs) and the new valve kits installed...+1" raising links for the rear and you're GTG

Renting a track for a private day is very expensive, unless we would go to Jennings or CMP.

Me thinks, the best plan would be to wait until the 2008 NESBA schedule is released.

As for me, I do not know what next year will hold for me.
