The following text, from the American Motorcyclist Association, outlines
a state governmental plan to take money from the Motorcycle Ohio
program. A meeting on this is set for April 24.

Please review the information carefully and follow the steps the AMA has
outlined to help with this campaign. The AMA has made this SO easy (yet
another benefit of supporting the AMA - if you aren't a member of the
AMA you absolutely CAN and SHOULD take part in this effort to protect
Motorcycle Ohio funds, but while you're at it, why not join the AMA?).
Following the steps to protect Motorcycle Ohio's funds will only take a
moment of your time, and your effort really can make a difference.

It is critical that you do so as soon as possible.

Some of our senators actually read this shid!!

State Representative Sylvester Patton stands in full opposition to the
transfer of funds from the Motorcycle Fund. He has always been an
advocate for motorcycle safety and awareness. As the sponsor of House
Bill 283, which designates May of every year as Motorcycle Safety &
Awareness Month in the State of Ohio, he plans to vote against this
harmful transfer of funds.

Thank you for keeping our office informed on the issues that are of
particular importance to the citizens of Ohio.
