Anyone Use Chest/Back Vest??

I was asking if anyone rides with Chest/Back Vest Protector? Do they also keep you warm. Was looking at the Icon vest for $100. Is it worth it and how many ride with one one? Thanks

Nothing wrong with getting one but a good armor jacket worn underneath a cheap MC rain suit will protect your upper toro and block out the heat robbing wind.

I have the Alpinestars Bionic. I removed all of the armor from my leathers & use this under them. No it does not keep you warm, but it will help in a crash.

I wear my wind/rain suit, it really does help to keep you warm

I use the ICON myself ALL THE TIME, never ride without it. We have a lot of idiot cager here in Ontario! Good investment, just in case.

Chest protection is under rated;the manufacturers drag their feet on adding better protection in their jackets and pants.
