Anybody used the zex under hump mount?

I seem to have a problem with the fit of the under hump bracket. The new bracket makes a bigger gap between the hump and the tail! Is this how it's supposed to sit?

Do u have a undertail kit on the bike? Only thing i can see that u can do is try to move the latch back farther...if u can even move it back..thats a little more space than mine has ...

That fits grea mine has a 1-2 inch gap
