Acc power socket.  Anyone do it?

I would like to add a power socket to my inner fairing panel to power Radardetector,gps, tunes, ect.... has anyone done it?
If you have, What ia a good socket to buy. I would want one that has a rubber cover so it can be plugged when not on use. I want a good quality socket.

Also, where did you mount it. Just looking for Ideas.

Don't know if there is a difference in the quality of the sockets, but they are simple to install. I'm putting one in the trunk.

Try Powerlet. Touring guys swear by them. They have a multitude of sockets and cords to choose from.

I got a heavy duty waterproof one from Pep Boys . I think Rhythm put his on the front of the brake or clutch reservoir, which hides it nicely, but I don't think mine will clear with the risers
