You have me curious. I plan to run the stock quick shifter on my Gen 3 with compressed air for the boost controller for quicker spool. Are you saying you can go back and forth between quick shift and air shift?
 
for sure, you can do either at any time. What I was saying is that I use an input to detect when you air shift (versus just wiring the solenoid to a button that ecu isn't aware of and yanking on shift lever) so that you can have shorter kill times for air shifting versus foot shifting. You could do the 1-2 shift on air, and 2-3,3-4 with foot and have different kill times etc.

The base table i have setup (can be however you like) is gear and RPM based, and then has a 4th axis when air shift input is active with a whole other set of values based on gear / rpm.

then with 4th axis = 1 (air shift input active) you get this table. Table can be a single value or much much larger than this if needed.
