9 Inch stretch with a passenger? Possible?

I'm interested in buying a bike that has a 9inch stretch. The owner tells me I will be fine with a passenger but I HIGHLY doubt it. I'm 6'3 245 and shes 165ish. Please tell me hes making that up. Anyone else with a stretch that big?

Would a 1400lb spring solve this issue or poop out of luck

Would somebody make a variable ratio spring so you don't lose a reasonable ride when solo?

You should be fine. As long the swingarm is a good brand and it not swingarm extensions. I would get a stiffer rear spring.

Thanks guys, checking it out today. It does have a stiffer spring I'm told and a roaring toys kit.
