I've done a bit of research, but nothing solid enough to attempt :banghead: On this forum, people have quoted close to $2000 for this swap (2007 or 2008 1000 tail on a gen II busa). Now, I'm no master fabricator, but I know my way around a shop :whistle: and I can't fathom why on earth...

I actually went to a shop about this a few times, and they blame it on the floating brake pads in the front... a few shops said the same thing. I just got a very loud exhaust and now I can't hear anything! :thumbsup:

It's more a body positioning issue, your leg should be getting sandwiched between the asphalt and the bike way before your fairing touches. Try leaning your body further off the bike rather than the bike leaning more into the turn than your body
