I have an 06 Busa, almost 30,000 miles, and havent had a lick of trouble with the bike until this past sring. The bike started warping rotors. The brakes were not releasing all the way. I have replaced the forks (maybe bent?)... I have replaced the rotors (warped 3 sets)... I have replaced...

I dont even know what to say about this statement... "your brakes are not a mechanical system..." Wow... I am an aircraft mechanic, and please let me assure you - Your brakes ARE a mechanical system. Hydraulics are simply the means to operate a mechanical (or electro-mechanical) device...

try pulling your windscreen and placing 3" strips of velcro (only the loop side) in various areas of the lip that tucks into your fairing. It takes a bit of working with it to get it to slide in all the way, but with patience it will go in.

Would it have been easier to just JB weld the original (or maybe a slightly longer one) bar end bolt into the bar end, and just use the existing threads?

I ride year round (CA). Coldest morning ride into work ever?... 14 degrees. Normal weekend ride?... 325-350 miles per day... Canyons of Malibu, Angeles Crest, Kern River Valley rule. Took our first 325 mile ride two weeks ago. This coming weekend going to Whitney Portal... gettin my fix on...

It could have gotten in through your intake camshaft housing. Mercury is very heavy and could have gravity fed its way into the sub-galley. From the sub-galley it an easy trip to the main oil galley.

My buddy has a 99. He had the same problem. He R2 his fuel filter, cleaned the junk out of his tank, and R2 the fuel pump. No problems now...

When I first got my 06 I overserviced the engine oil. I took it out for a ride and oil started venting out the right side of the bike. I came back with oil all over my right pant leg. I took the bike to the delaership and they told me that Busa's will do that when over serviced. I have never...

I'm just wondering what they're for... They are different, but I wouldnt put 'em on.. sorry...
