What do you think about my homemade push-rod protection mod?

I think if sprocket cover was stronger or if there was not enough space, the broken chain would stuck inside , squish and force sprocket and would crack motor block. So there are advantages and also disadvantages about it.

What do you think about my homemade push-rod protection mod?

Well i think stainless steel has much more tensile strength than most of aluminum alloys. Pure aluminum or plain aluminum would already bend at first press, would not stand that force. Steel alloys are more strong than aluminum alloys generally. So i don't think whether it dares or not. Also as...

What do you think about my homemade push-rod protection mod?

Here are my dimensions and they looks kinda good for me, it pushes cover a bit like 4mm. Maybe its a bit much but considering my rubber is kinda elastic and soft works good for me so far. Regards.

No CKP no FI no code

Finally i got my C12 error and FI indicator blinking. It is caused by ckp sensor socket, which was accidentally disconnected. I cranked motor about 4 5 seconds and got it. So i guess it wasn't disabled, it does kick in very late or maybe just started working properly after i ve adjusted CKP...

What do you think about my homemade push-rod protection mod?

Man , i really did need this mod, just got fed up from sand that scratch inside of slave cylinder and cause clutch fluid leakage. I hope this will fix my problem.

What do you think about my homemade push-rod protection mod?

I made it from rubber cylinder. Measured the distance from slave cylinder outer wall to rod seal and gave 5mm extra length so that it will be squeezed abit to seal both cylinder and push rod seal from dust and dirt. Thanks for any good/bad comment. I haven't gone any test ride yet. By the way...

No spark and no fault codes

Mine doesn't give FI or code if i remove CKP sensor. Maybe still CKP sensor is problem? CKP sensor is responsible for sparks i think. Maybe you shuld test CKP sensor Voltage while cranking.

Has anyone checked their Crank Position Sensor?

yeah shuld never give up! :D

Has anyone checked their Crank Position Sensor?

For proper ckp test you need a peak voltage detector circuit which consist of simply a diode and a capacitor or better way you can use oscilloscope. A multimeter either in DC or AC position , it will measure effective value of voltage which will not give you proper information. Peak voltage must...

No CKP no FI no code

Not to give error or FI light when CKP is disconnected is problem. Anyone tested it proved such situation before please?

    Okay, thank you.

No CKP no FI no code

I have checked my CKP sensor and found 2.5V peak voltage which is below specifications. But weird thing is when i disconnected CKP coupler and tried to start motor to check FI indicator, i didn't get any code or FI light. I cranked for more than 4 seconds but nothing. After that, i connected CKP...

    battery charging problem

Hello, ah yes, its shunt regulator, voltage should not drop. Thanks for reminding.
