06 LE silver bullet

my 06 has 125 miles on it i cant seem to get it into 6th.pull the cluch in pull shift lever up let cluch out.acts like its in nuetral.pull cluch in pull shifter up again and clunk in goes in to 6th.does not sound good.i have always had a honda.the first time i get a suzuki see what happends.
