OP asked about USB to serial... hmm. I've got something that does that lol
Now, I'm willing to bet I can use it to flash my Gen 1.
Red LED on with ignition even when my activation (clutch, not 12V) wire isn't connected to ANYTHING.... wtf
Swapped the connectors to opposite harness plugs, confirmed good ground connection, no CELs, tried with clutch wired to the proper wires at harness, NO CHANGE!
Ole thread, same issue. Please post local (dorman, etc) compatible part # in the future for these type quick fixes.
Anyone with said Dorman part # by chance?
Didn't fit well, and having a hard time finding spacers. Any ideas who would make them locally? Not a huge city, but I'm resourceful.
What kind of tubing would I use and is it something I could do with a pipe cutter or is that definitely machine shop work to cut so the width is to a "T" ?
So I got my Gen 1 with a PCV installed. Added a Launch Master and I've got no fuel pump prime/no start.
Do you have to have the ignition control module to use the PCV and MSD launch master together? With both installed I get the active light when I test the launch master clutch ground install...
Aftermarket swingarm, chain tensioner bolt broke off flush. Can't drill straight due to limited space in axle slot. Any ideas? Oh, also no access other than the missing-bolt-head-end.
Tried to drill from inside the outside the arm to get a (terribly waaaay far from) straight hole into the bolt...
