I'm an expert in rebuilding 100+ engines in my life. I would NOT attempt an easy-out in this case, nor drilling. I'd pay someone to do it. Heads ain't cheap :)
That really sucks. It could be drilled out, and retapped to clean out the threads, or maybe use an easy-out only if you know what youre doin. Please take to a professional. Don't **** it up any worse than it already is. Worst case you may need to have the head pulled and taken to a machine...
I bought a NEP throttle lock, but damn! I got the one for a Honda.
Questions: Was the NEP easy to install? Was there enough gap between the grip to simply slide it in? The gap looks kinda tight to simply slide it in without having to remove the grip. thanks!
I recently went on a highway road trip and got minor hand cramps. I need a throttle clamp, but don't want get one of those "cramp buster" clip ons. I wish the Busa had a cruise control, but I can understand it's not all that safe. However, I think this will also help me keep my speed constant...
ahahh! I knew a compression test would reveal something. Sorry to hear a valve issue. I'll send you the bill for my consultation services :) Please send us pics when you get the engine broke down.
