Thats what I thought when I purchased them but if you look at the first post mine were not the only ones like that.

Never. If the alarm is deactivate the RFID is not constantly pinging the remote. This and the power to the sensors is what kills the bikes battery and the remote. I have had my deactivated for months without riding and the bike fires right up. But I would estimate 1-2 weeks if its always...
Just tossing this into this debate:
Been riding with this seat for awhile and on the stock seat I could run about 60 miles before stiffining up. With the corbin I can run 100 to 150 mile before I have to stop.
I'm 6'7" 280 LBS and not getting any lighter:whistle:
