Went to Cycle Connection in Gaithersburg, MD today to get the GSXR tuned. Had them check the tune on the Busa first. Threw down the same numbers as it did 8K ago. 180-hp, 103-tq The K9 1K put down some good numbers too! 170-hp & 75-tq. PetriK is God and Shawn is a Saint! Still...

I used 0W-40 AFF, JASO MA. Seemed to work okay. I have since switch to Maxima Maxum4 Ultra 0W-30. Busa shifts much easier. Gixxer seems to be much quieter.

I went with the Pilot Road 2 for the Rear. Looking at the Pilot Power for the Front later this Summer. Just put a set of Power One's on the GSX-R1000, second set of rims. Had to give-up my youngest for them. Will be hitting WV sooooon!

Good numbers. Mine were - 180.9 HP and 103.3 TQ Must be the difference in the Pipe. Shawn and Rose are the Bomb. Were you able to play with the dog? I bet she has grown!

I have the Michelin Pilot Power 2CTs. I put about 6K on the rear and it is past the wear bars in the middle. I was going to do the 2CT again on the rear.

I believe that the fee's vary based on the work you have done. Best to let Shawn make that comment. Give him a call, they are very upfront with costs and stick with what they quote. I picked up a GSXR 1000 over the off-season. I hope to get to them this summer for a tune. Busa is still...

Sorry, just got to 6K for an oil change. There are many other Gen II's that could have done this. BTW - My manual says filler-up to the "F" line!

Just did the hot check as per the book. Started out at 3300 mL and ended-up with 4000mL. Same net result.
