    Coundn't hurt. Clutch fluid absorbs water which boils and reduces the function of it.

    The rectifier basically is the brains and heart of the charging system. It uses diodes to transform the AC electricity from the stator into DC. It also senses the battery voltage and controls the amount of output in the charging system to keep everything running.

    There should be an extra slot in the fuse block for a 12 volt accesory. That would be the best way to go.

    Something else you might check for while your at it is hose bulging. Worn lines can stretch under pressure, might be time for some new ones, or steel braided lines for some good stopping power.

    If you do the service around 1000 miles instead its more likely to stay synced. Also its gives your suspension more time to settle in fully.

    Are there a better spark plugs than the OEM?

    Better spark plugs aren't necessarily going to increase performance but they will increase reliability. Irridium has the best corrosion resistance and therefore won't foul up as easily.
