The front vent on my Arai Quantum/F fell off while I was adjusting it one day, so I duct taped the hole. I've used that helmet for about 90,000 miles now so it's due for a replacement. It's a good helmet, but I think the shield attachment system totally blows. Shoei has a better easier to use...

Jeez...no mention of Mach 2 Carnage.

I get 50MPG on the display after I reset it and am cruising at 75MPH on the superslab, and that's the only way. City or twisties forget it.

Here in CA I've only seen bikes coming to the dealers fully assembled on a flatbed truck. I have yet to see a crated bike. I guess that's what the "Assembly" fee is.

I have 'em, and even if it were a harder on the rotors, which it's not, that's a small price to pay for the increase in braking performance.

I've seen 'em in person. They're beatifully crafted.

I've plugged my tire with the "string" type plugs.  It actually works pretty darn good.  Can be bought at any car store.  I've done this on the V-Strom most recently and on my older bikes. I would not do it on the Busa though.  The high torque/hp might rip the plug right out.  And it was tough...

If you want better mileage with good grip go for Metzeler Roadtec Z6, Avon AV45/46, or Michelin Pilot Road...in that order . I'm currently running a Pilot Road in back and a Pilot Sport up front. Next tires will be the Z6.
