my '05 with stock everything pretty much got 10.9 at 133mph all i've done to it is k&n, pilot powers, tre, r4 superbike oil, irridium spark plugs.

can the pump be disassembled and cleaned?

premium 92 octane from shell

replaced plugs (irridium) 31 thousants. 1st gear will go beyond 8k.. today, the problem was more like 7.5k. also changed oil from syntec to castrol gps 10-40. how do you clean fuel screens? where are they located? will clean and oil k&n today, but its only 1000 miles old...

in about 2nd or 3rd gear, motor will not pull past 8000 rpm. occasional surge, but nothing beyond that. problem seemed to come on slowly. does not seem to affect lower rpms. any ideas whats causing it? stock bike (05), 37000 miles, k&n, spark plugs 7k miles ago, tre, 10 40 castrol syntec...

have you checked the plugs? how many miles are on your busa? do you have a service contract with a shop for regular service intervals?

mine has a slight knock while in neutral. could this be caused by the rubber issue as well? (or should there be a slight knock in neutral?) when i pull in clutch, knock stops.

Beaverton Honda/Yamaha has got to be the slowest shop around. i'm still waiting for them to fix it and they have had the bike 3 weeks now. they are even paid in full.

when you buy tires, be very careful. get the same tires you have, or better (like the michelin pilot power) because the busa is a straight line bike. not meant for corners. anything less than what comes stock comes at the price of handling. just my 2 cents, busa is my 3rd bike.

my winshield makes the ticking sound on mine. a dab of RTV silicon below made it stop.

i went and looked at it last night, there is a SMALL dent on the tank. looks like they guy who towed it did it (i asume). they say parts are ordered. could be 10 days before i can ride it home. they have ordered a new flywheel and other stuff too. i will try to scan the estimate and post here...

shop just ordered parts today. they say it will be 7-10 days before they start work on it. they got all their money, so i dont think they will delay. one thing got me angry, there wasnt any damage to the tank. why are they ordering a new tank? i took photos before tow truck came to take it to...
