I went through the same thing (didn't lose my job over it though). It's interesting to note that it doesn't matter the odds or circumstances...if you're attacked and come out on top, suddenly you're in the wrong. I personally believe that if someone decides to make the commitment to inflict...

I have an '00 busa, recently the engine blew. If it was the cam chain tensioner (there was a recall right?) that caused it, will suzuki repair the engine?
I found a 2002 engine w/1400 miles on it to replace my blown one. I can install the engine no problem. My question is: after I install the engine, what steps do I need to take? Do I need to prep it in any way, or do I just start it up after I put oil in it?
Thanks !
I ride in the rain often (until my engine just blew). If you're accelerating, don't hit any yellow lines...you'll spin almost every time. That also goes for shifting on oil slicks when going through intersections. If you're waiting to turn and you're a few cars back...when you pass the front...
I never experienced any unstability at top speed with a diablo front, and an M1 rear. The only difference I noticed was when cornering. It wasn't unstable, it just felt different.
I think it looks cool but look at the position of the footpegs. There isn't a set further back, so how could you ever get agressive with it? Pretty neat, but with the cruiser-style riding position it looks like you'd be leaned over the tank with your feet way forward. Kinda funny.
(still working on borrowing a camera)
I started slowly replaying the events that lead up to my engine blowing. I remembered that right before I shifted, the rpms skyrocketed...I remember hearing the engine wind up and keep going past the rev limiter after I backed off the throttle before it...
