so it looks like the bike is fine now, what was throwing me off is that the bike sounds like it hits a rev limiter at 6000rpm. the car shop that i took the bike to said its because when the bike is in neutral it builds up to much pressure in the engine and therefore doesnt expell the engine...

im looking for some educated help, my 2000 turbo hayabusa starts and idles great, however every time my rpms reach 3800 rpm's my fuel pressure drops 10 psi, then the bike will push until 6000rpm and stay there . it sounds similar to a rev limiter , i have checked the stator...
you can also check the connection of the little black box on the left handle bar , sometimes if its dirty or not used in awhile that acts up, simply wiggle it and try and start the bike at the same time. you can also clean and mildy bend the 2 prongs to make better contact......good luck!
yup, exactly the same, 3800rpm she losses pressure and 6200 rpm she just cuts out like a rev limiter! i just took off the fuel rail and it all looks fine , my next idea is to zip tie the injectors to the fuel rail to keep them in place and turn this bi--h over and see if we have even spray out...
