(Tip over sensor).try when it starts to die shake the bike like your trying to warm up the tyres...if it comes back to life that's your drama

Have a look at tip over sensor my 2000 was doing the same thing ....or side stand proximity switch....good hunting

Problem found tip over sensor was the gremlin...thanks bumble Bee and Purple heart and for the breakdown of the fuel pump and modifications.... legends

Thanks for all the help appreciate all the suggestions (1)....all it took was a $5 bucket some garden hose and fuel pump specks to work out the problem ...(why have flash codes ) you would think if the fuel pump didn't supuply the correct delivery pressure and or volume I the would make be itself

Test resistance with multi metre ....can't get bike into shop for 4 weeks so I'm on my own....hope that helps?

I have a 2000 Gen 1 (ish) and Ive owned it for a month and those bloody stick coils are my drama while at cruise 120kmph she behaves itself but two red lights I can here her skip a beat at idle and off it goes ...wait 25-40 min and it fires straight up....keep the wind thru her feathers she flys...

I'm in Australia at the moment we are in our winter when it's cold like now or it's raining she runs all day and when during its last freak out I pulled a coil it nearly gave me blisters...they are 22 years old but once cool they sparked again ,....so I ordered a new set at a jaw dropping price...

My 2000 Busa will ride all day ,but in city traffic ,red lights the coils get hot then it when the temp gauge is half way shuts off if left to cool of 25-35 min it will start get her up to speed it runs all day ???any help would be greatly appreciated
